2008 Holiday information

We have been recently updating our schedules with the 2008 Public Holidays etc and found it difficult to find a site that lists ALL of the National public holidays and state school terms on one page � so we have created a page on our website that does just that. QuickBooks SQL

Is coming in 2008! T3 Ventures has partnered Quicken in the beta testing phase of this product as well as all consultants receiving training on the new product from Quicken. We are happy to say we are the most excited we have ever been about the release of a new version of QuickBooks. 2008 will be an extremely busy year for us and our clients as the upgrade process will be a little more complicated then what you may have been used to from the last few versions.

QuickBooks 2008 upgrade bookings

Book a consultant early in 2008 to ensure you receive skilled assistance in updating you QuickBooks program and data files. We are anticipating the highest level of enquires in over 10 years of combined operations from April 08 onwards so PLEASE make a forward booking with our consultants in February to secure our services so we are definitely available to be on-site or remotely available to assist you with the upgrade process. Don�t be afraid, QuickBooks 2008 is a great product!

Briefly Legal

In our September Newsletter we launched a regular section re legal issues pertaining to businesses. That section is no longer available and we are busily sourcing another provider to provide relevant information for our clients on legal issues.

Networking Feature for Businesses

Each Newsletter will now contain a brief feature on a business we partner with (as either suppliers of ours, customers of ours or sometimes both) to give our clients the opportunity to network with like minded people in the small business world. QuickBooks Tip

When setting up a new customer or supplier TAB past the Customer (or Supplier) Name field and type the name into the Company Name field. QuickBooks will auto fill the Customer (or Supplier) Name for you � saves those tired typing fingers!

Quicken Personal Range Tip

How to auto assign payees to transactions when downloading a bank statement into Quicken. QPP needs a Payee to recall last category used for that Payee. To turn this feature on Edit>Preferences>Quicken Program>Register>Quickfill> in the data entry box tick Complete fields using previous entries and also tick Recall memorized Payees. You should also tick Automatically memorise new Payees in the Automatic list updating box.
