2008/09 Tax Scales Released for QBi AND QuickBooks 2007/08

We have had several enquiries from clients about when the new tax scales will be released and thought it would be helpful to provide the following information from Quicken.

Quicken have advised that as well as releasing a Tax Table Service Pack for QuickBooks QBi series, they have also released a 2008/09 Tax Table Update for QuickBooks 2007/08 Plus, Pro, Premier and Enterprise. Payment Summaries for 2007/08 financial year can be printed from either the 2007/08 or the 2008/09 version of QuickBooks as there has been no changes made to the form. This will allow clients using multi-currency, and those who have not had the time to install their QuickBooks QBi series upgrades, a stop-gap until their software is installed early in the new financial year. Additional security measures have been implemented to ensure that only current Advantage members and subscribers can install or use this Service Pack.

The tax table update is available for download now from the Quicken website in the Downloads area.

In addition, Service Pack 2 is expected to be released before the end of July (no date as yet) and will only be made available to current QuickBooks Advantage Members and Subscribers. Service Pack 2 contains Multi-currency as well as fixes for a number of known issues in QBi release R3P.
