On-site Consulting Hourly Rate Increase

As of 01/07/07 our on-site consulting hourly rate will increase. As we have a policy of providing the best quality service to our clients as expediently as possible we have had to take the decision to increase our rate for a number of reasons. One is the difficulty we have in recouping travel costs in metro areas whilst ensuring we attend to your requirements as soon as possible after the initial call is made. In addition the pending BAS Service Provider legislation due to be enacted early next year will increase the cost of maintaining our professional and legal accreditation significantly. The draft legislation is being designed to regulate the bookkeeping industry and is over all a very good thing. It means we have to have formal qualifications AND a significant amount of experience before we can even apply to become a BSA. Ongoing professional development is also required. The downside for us and our clients is that all costs money! We have held off on this increase for as long as possible and have thought long and hard about how we can continue to offer an affordable, quality service to our clients. Below are some of the ways you can maximise the use of our knowledge for your business needs, without maximising the cost.
