Quick POS 07/08 Released ? New Features

- Microsoft Vista compatible
- Customer loyalty programs may now be set up
- Volume promotions can be set up and tracked - eg 'Buy two get one free' offers
- Multiple barcodes may now be set up for one product
- In Product Help files have been introduced
- Wildcard Searches for products and customers can now be carried out
- Administrator has been enhanced to improve its ease of use
- Additional hardware models have been added to the Supported Hardware List

As we know in Retail, keeping customers, attracting new customers and delivering service is what keeps the business growing. Keeping customers is about loyalty. If you could have a loyalty system that recorded history of your loyal customers and rewarded them also, you would keep the customers. Having promotions that attract new customers like sales for certain times, happy hour promotions, buy 2 get 1 free or bundled sales like the trouser, shirt and tie deal is needed in a system to manage these for the required benefit.

With changing barcodes by suppliers for the same product, or products that change and keep an existing barcode number, and the big one, the same item from different suppliers with different barcodes is one of the challenges in retail management.

The good news for all of the above, along with better searching and the ability to handle multiple promotions, is QuickBooks Point of Sale new release is able to manage all this along with the existing features that has seen it outsell its competition over the last 3 years.
