What if I don’t wish to upgrade every year?

Purchase your QuickBooks as a Full version and then upgrade again when you choose to. However we would recommend upgrading at least every 2 years. Our experience has been that people who leave it longer then 2 years run into issues such as
- The new version of QuickBooks is so different users suffer shock upon seeing it – okay that is slightly tongue in cheek but the point is upgrading every 4 or 5 years can be a confronting experience as the interface has usually under gone a significant make over and “nothing looks/feels the same”.
- Your software may no longer be compliant. Anyone using QuickBooks to process payroll needs to be on the latest version to ensure tax calculations, pay slip information and payment summary layout for example are compliant.
- Data corruption issues may not come to light until an upgrade is attempted, making the process more traumatic then is necessary.
- The upgraded version may not run on existing hardware…..any one had any issues with older PC’s and Vista?....
