Emailing from QuickBooks 07-08

Very recently most of you would have downloaded and installed QuickBooks 2007-08 Service Pack 1 to make sure you have the latest tax scales for payroll. The patch has had some adverse effects for those of you who are using the email invoices facility within QuickBooks. In other words, you lost the ability to edit and email before it actually was sent. Quicken have developed an email patch only for QuickBooks 2007/08 users NOT on Microsoft Vista of Office 2007. The patch is available for down load from the Quicken website.

The change in emailing functionality is necessary for QuickBooks users using Microsoft VISTA because of the security measures that Microsoft introduced to prevent SPAM. Quicken do, however, recognize there are many QuickBooks users not using VISTA so have worked on this solution to help them get back the functionality they had before.

A second service pack is available from the Quicken Website. Please note this patch is not suitable for Windows Vista users.
