Can you track serial numbers in POS?

Yes you can track serial numbers in POS - use the Number entry Function & change Caption to Serial No:
You can then locate it in quickBooks by using Find > Memo > and type in the serial number string. You can also do this on the purchase order if you type into the description or memo fields. When doing the Find, you need to check that Detail Level in Filters is set to All, not Summary Only.
