Set Up QuickBooks Accounts

This course is designed for beginners and more experienced users wishing to refresh their basic QuickBooks knowledge. It consists of 7 units, and an optional consolidation exercise. Upon completion of this self-paced course you will be able to:
  • Navigate within QuickBooks
  • Create a New Data file for your business
  • Work with the Accounts List (Chart of Accounts)
  • Set up Customer and Supplier Records
  • Creating Items
  • Setup Opening Balances for Items, Sales and Purchases
  • Perform an Initial Bank Reconciliation
  • Backing up and Restoring
If this course is delivered in a classroom environment it would normally take 1 day to complete.

Prerequisites

  • Microsoft Windows experience
  • Basic Bookkeeping knowledge an advantage (BSBCMN207A)
